History

A member of The Gallants. The Gallants had come to Richfield and enguaged him in some research and keeping an eye out for mystical materials and to help sell some of their mystical goods (through his connection in West River Run) without folk noticing.
When it came time to defend the town from the hybrid horde, Aman did not hesitate and volunteered his services. It was totally outside his demeanor and surprised everyone, and he earned a bit of a reputation
over it – plus blostered a few people’s flagging courage (hey, if the wimpy magic-man is staying….). He unburied all his most volatile and dangerous stock –
explosives, itching powder, freezing elixirs, etc. along with the compliment of stink bombs and minor alchemal goodies he normally has. When battle started and the explosions reigned down on the
horde, it caused chaos and confusion (of course not enough to stop the blood lusted horde). He made himself a target and took a wound on the fornt lines. This earned him a spot next to Plague when the returned to the horde’s cave to deal with the
thing frightening the shaman of the horde. He helped research the carvings they found in the Companion’s Library at Braddon Bog and unravel the secret of Lemrin Spear-Shaker, a lord of the area from at least 3000 years earlier, and the mystery of the
“Grave Chains of Aventh”. The right offering of 160 lbs on each plate caused the sarchophagus lid to sink and expose his tomb. When they found hsi mystical spear and were attacked by the barrow ghoul that
was Lemrin, he used the last of his freezing elixirs to immobilize a clawing hand and the bite fo the ghoul – though it still tore into Plague of the Gallants. Himself, Books, and Mary managed to kill Lemrin while he was focussed on Plague.
Afterwards, he endorsed Book’s plan to surprise attack the winged leader of the hybrid beast-people Karst. Together, though beatne to nearly dead, surprise overhwelmed him and they were able to secure the peace between
the beast people and the Earl’s people.

Background

Upbringing: Urban.

He is a bit of a fool on the outside, but only to dissuade superstitious locals from aggravation. He has a minor magic aptitude, incomplete reference works, is not a gossiper (loyal), and very interested finding a home for himself.
He fled the area south of Cabella after his family was burned in their home when a cow went dry, changed his name from Aman Theron, and settled in the Hawks Blood Inn.
Over time he had developed good sneaky skills in keeping his late night wanderings looking for ingredients away from prying eyes. He’s inquisitive (though not compulsory so),
and always seeking to learn.
