Content Policies
By default, all pages part of the Incarna Gaming Network have the PICS content rating label applied to them.
This does not mean that each page is adult materials, it simply means each page is labeled appropriately.
It is the stated policy of the IGN to promote a creative, open environment for all levels of maturity in
our user audience. Adult content will also be encouraged and used where and when appropriate.
The IGN perspective is to not use it gratuitously or purely for shock value.
In addition to PICS lableing, any material which would be considered adult will have clear visual and textual indicators.
- Any adult materials embedded in a product will be filtered by the registered user account information.
- Any adult material, regardless of user account filtering, which POTENTIALLY has adult content, must have the correct PICS label to enable browser/parental filtering rules to also apply.
Linking: All content is linked to other content in some way. There are no specific guidelines for determining when to link to other content for further information or
clarification. Some content may link to "Access Denied" materials - these require a login and are
governed by the access and use guidelines.
Retention of Documents & Materials
To as great a degree as possible, all official business documents and materials should have a digital copy retained indefinitely (for archive and legal purposes) and at least for three years for paper - both at multiple storage locations.
- Any document which is no longer part of the current business process or relating to any currently used materials shall be placed into a secure archive.
- Any document which exists only in printed form shall be scanned and kept in a secure archive.
