Play Scenarios

Play scenarios are detailed information describing a series of encounters and outcomes. These can be of two types: Adventure or Excursion. Play scenarios have are rated using a set of qualifiers which allow Game Master's to assess their appropriateness for the group.
All Play Scenario type material is paid for once and the subscription gives the account lifetime access.

  1. Formal: These are scenarios created by Incarna game designers and sold as products on the site.
  2. Internal: Any scenario materials which are part of an internal product (online magazine, or sample materials) line.
  3. External: These are reviewed, approved and registered scenarios external to the Incarna online materials. Access to them is granted by the owner of the adventure materials.

Adventure: An adventure scenario is a complete set of material with detailed information on plots, sub plots, characters, places, and encounters. The level of detal does not intentionally require the GM to improvise or fill in details - any rules it references outsde of the Global Material set will be included to the extent needed for the play.

Excursion: An excursion scenario is a self contained, simple set of plot devices and details. Excursions are meant to be added to any game session with little impact on game balance. It is purposefully incomplete in many details in order to allow a GM to insert the scenario within their own campaign. It is meant as a idea for a GM to flush out and complete in accordance with their own ideas and within the parameters they have set down in their campaign. Any reference to materials outside the core will be linked, but require a subscription to access.
